This project entailed designing, building, and iterating on a wind turbine, generator, and logic systems which would power and illuminate an LED signal at specific windspeeds. This combined CAD, Python, FEA, FEMM, CFD, and more to develop a working model. I was primarily responsible for the generator design, construction, and manufacture, though the entire endevour was a collaborative effort among my engineering group at the University of Edinburgh.
